Marketplace Set Up:

September 11th, 10:30am – 12:00pm
SundaySeptember 12th, 10:30am – 12:00pm

– You may park behind the Lions Event Centre
– A finalized floor plan with your booth location will be on site during setup.
– Please bring your own dollies, trolleys, or wagons to assist you in your set up.
– Trade show tents are acceptable. Maximum size allowed is 10′ x 10′
– All tables must be fully set up by 12:00pm for the start of the event. We request that you do not start packing up, dismantling or leaving until the end of the event each day.
– There are a limited number of booths with access to power.
– Vendor Liability Insurance: Vendors are strongly encouraged to have vendor liability insurance with minimum $2,000,000 coverage for their own protection. Provide a copy of the insurance certificate naming Cochrane Integrated Arts Society as also insured in advance of first market date. Low cost (~$15/day) vendor insurance is available from DUUO.

Concurrent Activities INSIDE the Lions Event Centre

Saturday

Puppet Pop Up – WP Puppet Theatre – south end of LEC – drop in puppet making
Mesmer’s Glass Performance – 3pm – centre of arena – 20 minute public participation performance. Participants will form circle in centre of arena with their instruments and little lights. Overhead lights will go OFF. Small safety lanterns will be provided for each artist table. Artist vendors and Puppet Pop Up are asked to be quiet. After performance, overhead lights will go ON.

Sunday

!BOOM! She Said – south end of LEC – drop in public participation drumming on “found” instruments. Three (10 minute) drum sessions: 1pm, 2pm, 3pm. Sessions will not obstruct Marketplace but may be loud.
