Cochrane Culture Days 2023
Cochrane Culture Days was a another fantastic success! We again teamed up with the Cochrane Farmers Market and the Cochrane Classic Car Club to combine great performances with their ongoing events. New additions to the line up were the Drowsy Maggies (Celtic band), the Calgary Wind Symphony and Wazin Ichinabi Ti artisan market in their premises on Main Street.

Cochrane Farmers Market (SLSFSC Parking Lot)
So many people visited the Cochrane Farmers Market and spent some time enjoying the Drowsy Maggies, the Stoney Mini Thni Dancers, Riverside Jazz, and the Calgary Wind Symphony!
Balloons and Butterflies balloon twisters were there creating fun balloon shapes for the kids and Imagine That YYC Face Painting was happy to give them a new persona!

Sunday, September 10
Centennial Plaza (Main Street)
Thousands came out to see the amazing cars and trucks at the Cochrane Classic Car Club Show ‘N’ Shine, and enjoy the performances of folk, jazz and Dixieland bands.
Kids assumed a fun character with Imagine That YYC Face Painting and Balloons and Butterflies balloon twisters provided fun balloon shapes for the kids.

Our Indigenous neighbours and allies, who have established Wazin Ichinabi Ti – House of Oneness Centre in Cochrane, raised their tipi. The Mini Thni Dancers joined in the display with their wonderful performance.
